... On observed flocks, approach or the close proximity of wolves usually do not create panic. In case of disturbance, the return to calm is relatively fast.

The LGDs may interrupt wolf predation behavior, but they are not enough to deter wolves back on the protected herds. The LGDs are more tolerant to the surrounding wildlife, including wolves! The agitation or calm LGDs are not correlated to the presence or absence of wolves in their workspace...
